Steps for Working with the EMLid Receiver and Emlid Flow App:

Using the EMLID Device

The EMLID device is a precision instrument for GPS measurements in the field. Follow the steps below to properly start and use the device in combination with the EMLID Flow app and Agromanager.

Starting and Connecting the EMLID Device

Step 1: Turn on the EMLID device by holding the power button until all indicator lights turn on.

Step 2: Check if the Wi-Fi icon lights up white. This means the device is broadcasting its own Wi-Fi network.

Step 3: Check the RTK signal icon. If it is not lit, the device is not receiving an RTK correction signal.

Step 4: Connect the tablet to the device’s Wi-Fi network:
- Go to the tablet’s settings
- Open the Wi-Fi settings
- Connect to the network named Agromanager: AC:07 (the code may vary)

Step 5: Open the EMLID Flow app. You should now see the receiver. You can confirm the connection status via the status check.

Step 6: Press the button at the bottom to open the survey interface.

Step 7: A blank overview screen will appear; projects are automatically loaded from the server.

Step 8: Check whether the correction signal is configured correctly: the IP address, port, username, and password must be filled in.

Step 9: The mount point is an input field. First click "Save" to open a dropdown menu, then select the option common.

Step 10: Check the option to send NMEA messages and then click Apply.

Step 11: The correction input will now be displayed.

Field Surveying

Step 1: Reopen the EMLID Flow app.

Step 2: The receiver should be visible. If not, press the refresh button in the top-right corner.

Step 3: In the top-left corner, check the internet connection. It must be connected to the Agromanager network via 3G, 4G, or 5G.

Step 4: In the top-right corner, you will see the number of satellites and the signal type. For accurate measurements, this should be set to FIX.

Step 5: Press Survey at the bottom.

Step 6: Create a new measurement by pressing the plus icon. Name the project; default settings can remain unchanged. Then press Save in the top-right corner.

Step 7: You will now see your project on the map. To add a survey point, ensure the signal at the top still shows FIX and press the plus icon.

Step 8: Press Save to store the point and continue to the next one.

Step 9: Note: record the points in a clockwise direction. This simplifies processing in Agromanager.

Step 10: When you are finished, press the back arrow.

This is sufficient to save your project. You can then export the files for use in Agromanager. Press the three dots and select Export.
