Automatic Break

With the Automatic break based on working hours function, you can ensure that breaks are automatically applied to timer registrations based on the working hours linked to an activity.

Requirement

Before you can use automatic breaks, you must first add working hours to the activity.

Read here how to add working hours to an existing activity.

Step 1 - Open the Time registration tile

Open the Time registration tile on the dashboard.

Click Configuration on the left-hand side of your screen and then open Settings.

Step 2 - Open the Timer app settings

Open the Time registration section within the settings.

Then look for the setting Automatic break based on working hours.

Step 3 - Enable automatic break based on working hours

Enable the Automatic break based on working hours setting.

From that moment on, Agromanager uses the working hours linked to the activity to automatically apply the breaks in the timer registration.

Attention

Make sure that the separate Automatic break setting on the Timer app is disabled.

If this setting is also enabled, the break may be deducted twice from the registered hours.

Good to know

The automatic breaks are determined by the working hours configured for the activity. Do you want to change the break times? Then first adjust the working hours of the activity.
