With the Automatic breaks according to working hours function, you can ensure that breaks are automatically applied to timer entries based on the working hours linked to an activity.
! Requirement
Before you can use automatic breaks, you must first add working hours to the activity:
Add working hours to existing activities (V8)
Step 1 - Open the Time registration module
On the home page of your environment, click Modules on the left. The different modules will then appear as green tiles.
Click the Time registration tile.
Click Configuration on the left-hand side of your screen and then open Settings.
Step 2 - Open the Timer app settings
Within the settings, open the Time registration section.
Then find the Timer: Automatic breaks according to working hours setting.
Step 3 - Activate automatic breaks according to working hours
Set the Automatic breaks according to working hours setting to YES.
From that moment onwards, Agromanager will use the working hours linked to the activity to apply the breaks automatically to the timer entry.
! Please note
Make sure that the separate Automatic break setting in the Timer app is disabled.
If this setting is also enabled, the break may be deducted twice from the registered hours.
Good to know
The automatic breaks are determined by the working hours set for the activity. If you want to change the break times, first adjust the working hours of the activity.
