When working with crop rows where the planting distance differs at the beginning and/or end, you can efficiently map them using the Upload CSV option in Agromanager.
Step 1 - Upload CSV File
On the right side of your screen, you will find the option to select a file. Click Select file to upload a CSV file.
Then browse your computer to find and select the correct file. Once you’ve selected the file, click Next.
Agromanager will automatically process the data from the file. The measured points will immediately appear on the map, allowing you to visually check if everything has been imported correctly.
Step 2 - Link Points to Rows
After uploading the CSV file, the measured points will automatically appear both on the map and in the list on the right-hand side of the screen.
In this list, you can assign each point to a specific row. To do this, enter the correct row number next to both the start point and the end point of each row.
This tells Agromanager which points to connect in order to form a complete crop row.
⚠️ Attention:
Only enter the row number for the selected point, not for the opposite measuring point.
SUGGESTION!
When entering a sequence of rows next to the start or end points, a pop-up will appear. By filling this in, the start or end points of all rows up to the entered row number will be automatically completed.
Step 3 - Working with Different Planting Distances
If your crop rows have varying planting distances (e.g., a different distance at the beginning or end of a row), follow these steps:
Link Head Sections
Link only the head sections (start of the row). Click Save. You will now be taken to the overview of your crop rows.
Edit Planting Distance
Go to the overview and click ‘Edit’.
Here, you can adjust the row zone widths on both left and right sides, change the number of trees per row for varying plant distances, and adjust the variety if needed.Continue Linking Rows
Add the same CSV file again. Now link the middle section of the row. Click Save again. Repeat the steps a third time if the end section also has a different planting distance.
This way, you can build one row from multiple segments, each with its own planting distance.
Step 5 - Save Crop Rows
Once all points have been correctly linked and your settings are finalized, click Save.
After saving, Agromanager will automatically generate the following elements based on your input:
Rows: the drawn lines between linked points that indicate the exact location of your crop rows.
Row zones: the areas surrounding each tree, calculated based on the specified row width and planting distance.
Tree points: the individual planting positions within each row, based on the number of trees per row and the planting distance.
This ensures your crop rows are fully and accurately displayed within the system.
