Using the Personnel Document Generator (V8)

With the Personnel Document Generator, you can automatically fill a Word template with the details of one or more employees.

The document generator replaces the placeholders in the Word file with the data registered for the employee in Agromanager.

! Requirement

Before you can apply these steps, you must first create employees in Agromanager.
- Click here for the steps to follow

Ensure that the employee details are filled in as completely as possible.

Make sure your Word file contains the correct placeholders.

Step 1 - Add placeholders to the Word file

Place a placeholder in the Word document at every location where data should be filled in automatically.

Save the Word file once all placeholders are in the correct locations. The file can now be used as a template in the document generator.

! Note

Copy the placeholders exactly as they appear in the tables. Any altered spelling, capitalisation, or missing percentage signs may cause the placeholder not to be replaced.

Step 2 - Open the Personnel Document Generator

On the dashboard, open the Time registration tile.

Click on Reports on the left side of your screen.

In the reports overview, click on "Personnel: Document generator".

Step 3 - Select the employees

Check the selected employees, date, and the added Word file.

Then click on Generate

Missing data

If a particular piece of data is not filled in for the employee, the corresponding placeholder cannot be completed with that information either. Therefore, check the employee file beforehand.
