"How does rebooking plant protection products in the stock overview work?"

When the legally required instructions for use of plant protection products are changed, the product receives a new version number (for example due to changes in approval, dosage, or composition). Once a version is no longer valid, it is important to correctly rebook this version of the plant protection product in the stock overview. This ensures that your spray journal remains up to date and meets legal requirements.

Step 1 – Opening the stock overview

Open the stock overview and check on the right side of the stock list which products have the Rebook button in their row.

Step 2 – Check whether the product has expired

Product displayed in RED

If a product is shown in red in the list, this means that the product or this version is no longer valid.

  • Check whether the Rebook button is available for this product.
  • If the transfer button is available, you must transfer this product to the new version.

⚠️ Note: Is a product shown in red, but there is no transfer button visible? Then this product has expired and may no longer be used. In this case, you must remove the product from your inventory by creating a new “Output” registration, or by setting the stock to 0 through a new “Stock count” registration.

Products with a Rebook button but not shown in red

Some products have a rebook button but are not yet shown in red.

  • These products are still valid in the current version, but a new version is already available.
  • In that case, Rebooking is not yet mandatory, but recommended to prevent future issues.

Step 3 – Rebooking the product

To transfer the product, click the Rebooking button on the right in the overview. During the rebooking, you will be asked to enter a date. This date determines from when the transfer is valid. From that moment onward, the spray journal will use the new (rebooked) version.

⚠️ Important: The rebook date determines from which moment the new version becomes active. Everything recorded in the spray journal after this date will automatically use the new version of the product.

Advice for selecting the correct date:

Consult the approval database for plant protection products. Look up the relevant product and check from which date the old version expired and the new version became effective. Use that date for the rebooking.

💡 Tip: If the product has not been valid for a long time, you may also use January 1 of the current year as the rebooking date.
