How do I create a new field?

Step 1 - Open the Crop module

Open one of the following packs in Agromanager to access the Crop module

  • Spray log
  • GPS
  • Harvest
  • Time registration

Then click on Crop in the left menu, after which several options will appear.

 

Step 2 - Open the Field overview

In the overview located under Crop, you will find the Fields button. By clicking this button, you open the screen with an overview of all your fields.

Step 3 - Add a new field

At the top of the list of all fields, you will find the green New field button. Clicking this button opens the screen to create a new field.

Step 4 - Fill in the details

In the pop-up screen, you can fill in all parameters to create a new field.

The following parameters must be completed during creation:

  • Field No.: This is the sequence number of this field.
  • Field name: The name of the field is entered here.
  • Cadastre No.: Optionally enter your cadastre number. 
  • GLN Number: Optionally enter your GLN number.
  • Grower: The grower of the field is specified here.
  • Country: The country where the field is located.
  • Soil-based: Here you can indicate whether it is soil-based.
  • Remarks: Free text field where you can add additional notes about the field.

 

Step 5 - Save

Once all information has been entered correctly, you can click Save at the bottom of the screen. This will open the overview with all details of this field. The field will then appear in the Fields list. Through the details, you can find an overview of all crops that are currently or have previously been added to this field.
