The Environmental Impact Points (EIP) indicate the environmental impact of a product on one of the following parameters:
- Soil life
- Aquatic life
- Groundwater
If this setting is enabled, an indication of the EIP score will be shown next to the product when creating a treatment in the Spraybook. This indication helps you make more informed choices when using products. The following scores are distinguished:
Green: 0-100 EIP
Orange: 100-1000 EIP
Red: >1000 EIP
The higher the score, the greater the environmental impact.
After you have entered your treatments in the Spraybook, the final environmental impact is calculated. The following factors are taken into account:
- Organic matter class
- Active substance
- Dosage
- Technique used
- Application period
If you have the Beter Voor certificate through Vogelaar Vredehof, an Environmental Impact report has been made available for your company. In this report, you can find your Environmental Impact score. To do this, go to the Spraybook module, navigate to Reports in the menu on the left, and choose the report "Spraybook Environmental Impact".
It is important that the correct Organic Matter % values are assigned to the registered plots. If these have not yet been entered in Agromanager, you need to enter them via Crop -> Plots. Open the details of the relevant plot and check whether the registered organic matter percentage is correct. If this is not the case, you can still adjust it by editing the plot via the orange button at the top right.
