Prerequisite

Before you can follow these steps, you must first add Empties in Configuration.
Click here for the steps .
There are 2 ways to add empties to your Agromanager environment: via empties stock or via Delivery note entry.
Important (BRC)
If you work according to BRC, you must add empties via Delivery note entry. This ensures that the supplier and delivery date are linked to the empties lot.
If you only want to keep track of empties internally, you can perfectly work via empties stock.
Option 1 – Add empties via Empties Stock
Step 1 – Open Sorting and packaging
On the start page of your environment, you will find the Sorting and packaging tile. After opening this tile, you will see several items on the left, including Empties Stock.
Step 2 – Add new empties
In the Empties Stock overview, you will find the New empties button in the top right corner. Click this button to open a pop-up and enter the following details:
- Supplier: Select the supplier here. If the supplier is not yet available in the list, please refer to the article How do I add a new contact?
- empties type: Indicate which type of empties it concerns.
- empties item: Select the specific empties item.
- Quantity: Enter the quantity that was delivered.
- Remarks: Optionally add extra information (not required).
Click Save to add the empties.
After saving, a pop-up will appear where you can optionally print a barcode label for the empties. This is not mandatory.
Option 2 – Add empties via Delivery note entry (BRC)
If you are BRC-certified, you must use delivery notes to add empties. The following link refers to the article with the detailed steps: How do I add empties to my stock? .
