In Agromanager, in addition to registering treatments, you can also plan treatments using the planning function. With this function, you can easily plan treatments, check them in advance, and print tank registrations.
Step 1 - Open Planning
Open the Spraybook module in Agromanager. The Treatments Overview screen will now open automatically. In this screen, you can see all treatments that have already been carried out. Click Planning in the menu on the left to go to your planning overview.
To register a new planning, click the green "Plan treatment" button at the top right. Then choose the type of treatment you want to carry out from the dropdown. This is important for the rest of the registration process. You will only be able to add products to your treatment that are suitable for the selected type.
Crop: For a crop treatment
Natural predators: To register the use of natural predators
Weeds: For a weed treatment
Fertilisation: For fertilisation
Fertigation: For addition via fertigation
Other: For a different type of treatment without chemical products, such as mechanical weed removal
Step 2 - Select country
If your crops/plots are not spread across multiple countries, this explanation is not relevant for you.
When your crops/plots are located in multiple countries, a screen will appear where you indicate the country in which you are carrying out the treatment. Select the country and click the green Next button. You will then see a screen where you can enter the details of your planning.
Step 3 - Enter treatment date and start/end time
At the top of your screen, enter the start and end date of your planned treatment. You will see that this is automatically filled in with the current date. You can easily adjust this by clicking the date with your cursor. This also applies to the start and end time.
Step 4 - Determine treated area
On the left-hand side of your screen, you can select the type on which you want to determine the area. Under the image, you can read the necessary information about what each item means, so you know how to fill it in.
Display:
Here you indicate whether you want to carry out the treatment by crop, by plot, by treatment units*, by grower, or organically.
*This is a grouping of crops. To create a new treatment unit, we refer you to the article How do I add a new treatment unit?.
What are you going to treat:
Indicate which crop/plot/treatment unit you are going to treat. You can expand the options further by clicking the following arrow.
Area type:
Via the settings under My Company, you can enter a default area type for each type of spraying, such as crop, weeds, etc.
- Gross - Crop x spray factor: You will carry out the treatment on your gross crop area multiplied by the spray factor of this crop.
- Gross - Crop: You will carry out the treatment on the gross crop area.
- Gross - Bare strip: You only treat the bare strip of the gross area.
- Gross - Grass strip: You only treat the grass strip of the gross area.
- Net: This is the same as above, but here the net area is used instead of the gross area.
Treatment area:
This is calculated automatically based on the selected options above.
Step 5 - Add products
On the right-hand side of the screen, you can add the products used to the treatment by clicking the green Add button.
Then choose the stock location from which the product originates.
Attention!
The used quantity of the product is NOT deducted from the stock in the selected stock location after entry. This only happens after completing the planning.
Add the following parameters:
Name: Here you select the name of the product you are going to use. The easiest way is to type your product into the bar. This allows you to quickly see whether the product is shown in the list. If the product is not in the list, click all products. This will give you a list of all products in our database.
Dosage/ha*: Here you enter how much of this product you want to use per hectare for this treatment.
Total product*: Here you enter how much of the product you use during this treatment.
Reason: Enter the reason why you are carrying out this treatment.
* If you enter one parameter, the other is automatically filled in by the system.
If you want to remove the product again, click the red Delete button. This button is located next to the product, in the Actions column.
After the first product has been added to the treatment, the treatment type is determined based on the selected product and the previously selected treatment type: Chemical, Biological, Weeds, Fertilisation, or Fertigation.
Once the type has been determined, you will only be able to add products to your treatment that are suitable for this type. For example, adding a herbicide to a chemical crop treatment would no longer be possible.
If the first product you choose does not match the selected treatment type, the system will ask whether you want to change your treatment type.
Is your product not in the list?
You can have it added by clicking the white Product not found? button.
You will automatically be redirected to the form page to submit the request for the new product.
Do you want to quickly see how much product you still have in stock?
Click the blue Stock button. Here you will see an overview of how much of this product is still in stock.
What do the environmental impact icons next to the products mean?
When you carry out a treatment in the Netherlands, you will see environmental impact information for several products. You can find more information about this in the following article:
................
Step 6 - Execution
The next step is to fill in the information about the execution of the treatment.
Fill in the following parameters about the execution of the treatment:
Machine: Choose the machine used for the treatment.
Configuration: Choose the correct configuration of the selected machine.
Operator: Enter who carried out the treatment.
Water/ha: Automatically calculates how much water per hectare is needed.
If you want to add a treatment that does not require a machine, click Treatment is carried out without machine(s).
TIP!
Via the more settings button, you can change several parameters in the selected configuration. The settings will then be recalculated automatically:
Water/ha: The amount of water in litres per hectare that is sprayed during the treatment.
Number of tanks: The number of tanks that need to be filled to carry out the treatment.
Speed: The speed driven during the execution of the treatment.
Is my operator not in the list?
To add a new operator, click Configuration in the menu on the left. Then select Operators under Configuration.
Then click the green New operator button at the top right. You can now enter and save the name of a new operator.
Step 7 - Details
Here, the details of the treatment are entered.
Phenological stage: Here you indicate which phenological stage the crop is in when the treatment is carried out.
Comments: Here you can add something about the treatment that is important to you. This field is not required.
Reason: Here you indicate why you are carrying out this treatment. The options are:
- Advice: your advisor has recommended that you carry out this treatment.
- Observation: you have observed something, which is why you are carrying out this treatment.
- Model: based on scientific analyses.
- Sample analysis: a sample has been taken from your crop. This has shown that you need to carry out a treatment.
Step 8 - Save planning
When all details have been entered correctly, click the green Save button at the bottom of the screen. You will then see an overview of all your planned treatments.
Step 9 - Complete planning
Once a planned treatment has been carried out, you need to complete it. This moves the planned treatment to the treatments overview and automatically recalculates your product stock. See the article below:
