Add, edit or delete a transaction (V8)

Before you can follow these steps, you first need to add personnel.

Step 1 - Open the Time Registration module

On the home page of your environment, click Modules on the left-hand side. The different modules will then appear as green tiles. 
Click the Time Registration tile.

Step 2 - Open Transactions

In the overview under Personnel, you will find the "Transactions" section.
Clicking it will open an overview of all transactions.

Step 3 - Add a transaction

Click the green "+ New transaction" button in the top-right corner to create a new transaction.

You will then have 2 options:

  1. Group: Select this option to manually select the employees from an overview list (most commonly used).
  2. Scan: Select this option if you want to scan an employee's badge and assign the transaction from there. (Access to the camera of your laptop or computer is required.)

The most commonly used option, "Group", is explained in more detail below.

A - Enter the details

On the next screen, select the person(s) on the left-hand side for whom you want to create a transaction.

On the right-hand side , you need to enter the following details:

  • Date: date of the transaction
  • Type
    • Cost (-): this amount is deducted from the salary
    • Bonus (+): this amount is added to the salary
  • Amount: enter the amount here
  • Description: here you can specify what the transaction relates to 
    (e.g. Advance payment, Boots, ....)
    - This is not a mandatory field.

B - Save

Once everything has been entered, click the green "Save" button in the bottom-right corner.

You will then return to the transaction overview.

C - Edit or delete a specific transaction

Using the "Details" button at the end of a transaction row, you can edit or delete the transaction if required.

In the next window, click the orange "Edit" button or the red "Delete" button in the top-right corner to edit or delete the transaction.

This is only possible per individual transaction and cannot be done in bulk.
