Explanation of Settings 1. General

On the homepage of your environment, you can click Modules on the left-hand side. The different modules will then appear as green tiles. Click the General tile.

You can now find Configuration at the bottom left.

The different settings for the "General" section are described below.

  • General: Currency: This is the default currency in your environment: euro, dollar, ...

  • BIO: Certification body, for example NL-BIO-01: All organic certification bodies have their own code. For organic growers, it is important to fill this in here, as it must be stated on the generated labels.

  • General: Time zone: This is the time zone used for your environment.

  • BIO: Certification prefix, for example Skal: Enter the name of the organic grower’s certification body here. This must be stated before the organic number on the generated labels, so for organic growers it is very important that this is entered correctly here.

  • General: Default unsorted label layout: This is the default label layout for unsorted fruit. You can choose between a full label or no label. By default, a full label is selected.

  • General: Only show packaging for which a weight is available*: If this is set to “Yes”, only the packaging items linked to a fruit weight are shown. For example: 100 packaging items are available, but only 3 are used for crop X. In that case, only these 3 packaging items are shown, because only those are linked to a weight.

  • General: Company details tab in Excel reports*: If this is set to “Yes”, the company details are automatically filled in on the first tab when creating a report.
If there is only one company, this can be set to “No”, as each report will then automatically apply to that same company.

  • General: GS1 SSCC company prefix: If you purchase a code prefix from GS1 and use it to label fruit, it must be entered here. If you do not use SSCC labels, this field can be left empty.

  • General: Area display: This is the default unit in which areas are displayed in your environment. By default, this is set to hectare (ha), but it can be changed to square metres (m²).

  • General: Distance display: This is the default unit in which distances are displayed in your environment.

  • General: Weight display: This is the default unit in which weight is displayed in your environment.

  • General: Volume display: This is the default unit in which volumes are displayed in your environment.

  • General: Weight (tonnes) display: This is the default unit in which tonnages are displayed in your environment.

  • General: Navigation menu expanded by default*: Here you can set whether the menu bar on the left-hand side of the screen is shown expanded by default (left image), or collapsed, showing only the icons (right image). After changing this setting, you must first log out and then log in again before this change is saved.

  • Code Selector: Default option - Unsorted fruit: The code selector is a standard screen that allows you to add codes to something, for example during fruit import in sorting or delivery export. This setting determines, for example for unsorted fruit, which option is shown first in the dropdown and which option the screen opens with by default.

  • Code Selector: Default option - Sorted fruit: The code selector is a standard screen that allows you to add codes to something, for example during fruit import in sorting or delivery export. This setting determines, for example for sorted fruit, which option is shown first in the dropdown and which option the screen opens with by default.

  • General: Empty packaging tracing (BRC): With this setting, you can indicate what you trace and what you do not trace.
