On the home page of your environment, click Modules on the left-hand side. The different modules will then appear as green tiles. Click the Sorting and packaging tile.
At the bottom-left, you can now find Configuration > Settings.
The different settings for the “Sorting” section are described below.
Sorting: Batch reference available *: Allows you to link a batch reference to your sorting batch in addition to the batch name. This could, for example, be a batch code from your customer.
Country of origin selection *: If you set this to No, you cannot change the country of origin. The country set under “default country of origin” will then be used as the default country for every sorting batch.
Sorting: Ask for empty packaging location *: If you work with multiple empty packaging locations because you have several sorting machines, you will be given the option to assign empty packaging to these locations. This allows you to have stock of one empty packaging item at multiple locations. During sorting, empty packaging will only be deducted from the linked location.
Sorting: Default country of origin: Here you can specify the country of origin most commonly used during sorting. This can always be changed.
Sorted overview: overview expires after: The time period after which the stock overview is refreshed.
After 15 minutes; 1 hour; 4 hours
Sorting: Register responsible person *: If you enable this function, only a responsible person using their employee badge can perform a registration during sorting.
Sorted overview: Show cold store *: Determines whether this column is shown in the overview. The more columns you enable, the heavier the overview will be to load.
Sorted overview: Show crop *: Determines whether this column is shown in the overview. The more columns you enable, the heavier the overview will be to load.
Sorted overview: Show delivery reference *: Determines whether this column is shown in the overview. The more columns you enable, the heavier the overview will be to load.
Product: Default sorting machine: If you work with multiple sorting machines, you can specify one machine as the default when creating a sorting batch.
Shared sorted overview: show week number *: Attention! This does not apply to your own stock overview, but to the overview shared with, for example, customers. You may not always want to enable this, as the customer can then see exactly how old the pallets are.
Sorting: Activate empty packaging tracking *: When enabled, you can link empty packaging to fruit. For BRC-certified growers, this is an important function for ensuring traceability. It will also display available empty packaging in the production screen. You cannot register a product if an empty packaging item is no longer in stock. Important: this function does not work in combination with allowing empty packaging stock below 0!
Sorting: Show tracking number *: Specific setting for customers with an SAP connection to The Greenery. This can also be useful for customers who want to link an external number to their sorted fruit.
Product registration: show filters: If you set this to No, no pop-up will appear when opening product registration to filter by size, class and, where applicable, number of units. You will then only see a search bar, and all products added to the sorting batch will be visible.
Product Registration: show search bar *: If you set this to No, you will not be able to search for a specific product in your product registration screen.
Product Registration: Image scaling: Here you can set how your image is displayed in the production screen. For more information about this, please consult the following website: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference/Properties/object-fit
Item: Show number *: Allows you to assign an item number to a product.
This is required, for example, when working with SSCC labels, where a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) is required. The GTIN is the unique item number for a specific product combination (such as size, class and packaging).
Sorting: Show rejection percentage *: The difference between the fruit output and the fruit input is expressed as a percentage on your sorting report. This provides an indication of quality and the weights of your incoming storage crates.
Sorting: Allow empty packaging stock below 0 [Obsolete] *: This setting allows you to assign empty packaging when registering sorted fruit even if you do not have it in stock. A batch number is assigned to the empty packaging with a negative balance. As soon as you register an incoming movement for the empty packaging item, a pop-up will appear stating that your negative empty packaging stock has been replenished.
Sorting: Show checklist *: For BRC, it is important that a checklist is completed before sorting begins. You can customise this under Configuration - Checklists. By setting this option to Yes, the checklist will also be added to your sorting batch.
Sorting: Number repacking batch separately *: Sorting batches and repacking batches are numbered separately when this setting is enabled. Sorting batches will then start with SOL/year/0001 and repacking batches with OPL/year/0001.
