How do I use observations?

With the Observations option in the Spraybook, you can easily register observed items in the field in your Agromanager. If you give your crop protection advisor access to your Agromanager, they can also register observations for you.

Observations are ideal for registering and monitoring hotspots of diseases and pests in Agromanager. If you register the observation via the Spray app on your phone, the location of the observation is saved via GPS with an accuracy of approximately 3 metres.

Step 1 - Open Observations

Open the Spraybook module in Agromanager. Then click "Observations" in the blue menu on the left. An overview of your registered observations opens immediately.

Step 2 - Add a new observation

Create a new observation by clicking the green "New observation" button at the top right.

Step 3 - Enter observation details

First, you need to give the observation a name. Enter the name and then click Save.

A new screen will then open where you need to enter additional information.

Location

A pop-up appears on your screen asking whether you want to use your current location. If you want to use it, click the green 'Continue' button.

If you do not want to use it, click 'Cancel'. You can indicate the location of the observations yourself by clicking the location on the map with your mouse. This map is located on the left-hand side of your screen.

Notification details

On the right-hand side of your screen, you will find the following parameters.

Number of notifications: This field is filled in automatically based on what you have indicated on the map.
Comments: Here you can add information about the observation that is important to you. This field is not required.

The parameters below can only be completed if one or more locations have been indicated on the map. If you selected the 'current location' option, these fields are filled in automatically.

Radius: What is the radius of the measured observations?
Crop: On which crop did you make the observation?

Save details

Once you have entered the parameters, click the green "Save" button. A screen with all details of your observation opens.
