Where can I find the details of my packaging and how do I edit or delete them?

Step 1 - Open the Sorting and Packing tile

Open the Sorting and Packing tile on the dashboard. Within this tile, you will find all functionalities related to sorting, stock, deliveries and packaging.

Step 2 - Open Packaging

On the left-hand side of your screen, you will see the different modules. Click Configuration and then open Packaging

You will now see an overview of the available packaging.

Step 3 - Manage packaging

In the packaging overview, you will see a blue Details button next to each packaging item on the right-hand side in the Actions column.

Click Details to view the details of a packaging item.

Step 3.1 - Edit packaging

Attention!

When you edit packaging, this change is not applied retroactively. The updated version of the packaging will only be used for new registrations in sorting. All existing registrations remain linked to the old composition of the packaging.

Click the orange Edit button at the top to adjust the packaging.

Choices when saving modified packaging

After making changes, click the green Save button at the bottom.

A pop-up will then appear with three options to determine how the changes are applied to linked products.
  • Partial
Only products that have exactly the same packaging, without previous modifications, are updated with the new number of colli or accessories. Products with modified packaging remain unchanged.
  • Yes
All products that use this packaging are fully updated to the new settings, including the number of colli or accessories.
  • No
Only the packaging itself is updated. Linked products keep their original colli or accessories. This creates a difference compared to the new packaging.

Step 3.2 - Delete packaging

In the Actions column, to the right of the packaging item, click the red Delete button.

In the pop-up window, confirm that you want to permanently delete the packaging by clicking Delete again.

Attention!

Deleting packaging that is still linked to an active product may cause errors in the production screen. Therefore, always first check in the detail view of the packaging which products are using this packaging.

Tip

Preferably edit an existing packaging item instead of deleting it. This helps prevent issues in the production process.

Step 3.3 - Export packaging

Click the white Export packaging button at the top right of the screen. A screen with export options will open.

Export specific packaging

Use the Search function to filter by a keyword, for example colli or pallet

Then select the desired export format.

Export all packaging

Leave the search field empty and choose the desired export format.

Copy: copies the data to the clipboard.
CSV: exports the data to a CSV file.
Excel: exports the data to an Excel file.
PDF: exports the data to a PDF file.
Print: prints the data.
