Step 1 - Open Product Overview
On the left side of your screen, you will find various modules. Here, you'll find the sorting module. By clicking on it, you will see a number of items, including Product Overview. This opens the screen with an overview of all your products.
Step 2 - New Product
Click on New Product at the top of the overview list. This will open a new screen to create a new product.
Step 3 - Product Data

Fruit Data
When creating a product, you need to fill in the following data:
- Customer: Select the customer for whom the product is intended. If you want to create this product but don't have a customer (yet), you can also designate yourself here.
- Crop/Variety: Specify whether you want to create a product based on a crop or a variety. Depending on your choice, specify the crop or variety on the right.

Size Type: Indicate whether the fruit is sorted by Pieces or by Size.
- Pieces: Specify the number of pieces you want per product.
- Size: Specify the lower and upper size of the sorted fruit.
- Category: Specify the category in which the fruit will belong.
- Grower: Designate the grower of the fruit you want to add to your product.

Quantity: Here, you can specify how many products you want to create. Choose between Inventory or Number of pieces:
- Inventory: Create this product based on the inventory of fruit you have.
- Number of pieces: If you want to create a specific number of this product, enter the quantity here.
- Country of Origin: Indicate the country from which the fruit originates.
After filling in this data, click on Next.

Packaging Data
When creating, you need to fill in the following data.
- Type: Here, you specify the type of packaging you are using. You can choose between storage bin or colli/pallet.
You can specify different types, and the following parameters must be filled in when creating:

Storage bin
- Packaging Name: Type of storage bin to be used.
- Storage bin: The empties associated with this packaging will be used.
- Fruit Weight: The fruit weight per storage bin. Here, you can also distinguish between "exact" weight or weight that is "approximately" in the crate.

Image/Text: If no photo has been added to the packaging yet, you can place a photo here for this product. You do this by clicking on Drop your image here . This image will then be displayed in the sorting.
OR
You can add text below the image. This text will be displayed in the sorting. You are required to add an image or text. This is to obtain a clearer overview in the sorting.
After filling in this data, click on Next.

Colli / Pallet
- Packaging Name: Type of colli to be used.

Colli: The empties associated with this packaging will be used.
Number of colli/pallet: Specify how many colli are used per pallet.
Fruit Weight: The fruit weight per colli. Here, you can also distinguish between the "exact" weight or the weight that is "approximately" in the colli. - Pallet: Specify the type of pallet used. This can also be automatically filled in if it was added to the packaging.

Image/Text: If no photo has been added to the packaging yet, you can place a photo here for this product. You do this by clicking on Drop your image here . This image will then be displayed in the sorting.

You can add text below the image. This text will be displayed in the sorting. You are required to add an image or text. This is to obtain a clearer overview in the sorting.
After filling in this data, click on Next.

Varia
At the "Varia" screen, the following parameters must be filled in:

Label Layout: Here you have the choice of the following:
Complete: The label will contain all information.
Minimal: The information on the label will be minimal.
Size and Class: Only the size and class will be on the label. - Comments: You can type any comments here. This is, of course, not mandatory.
By clicking on Next, you will go to the next and final screen.

Step 4 - Sorting Lots
At the Sorting Lots screen, the following parameters must be filled in:
Automatically link product to compatible lots (busy/waiting):
- Yes: If you have already created sorting lots in the past, this will link the fruit to sorting lots that meet the criteria to obtain this product.
- No: You will have to manually link this product to a sorting lot (later).
Then click on Finish. This is located at the bottom of the parameters.
When you click here, this product is saved, and you will see an overview on your screen with the details of the product.
